Database Driven Websites
Westbury Designs offer over a decade of experience in database design.
Combining technologies such as PHP with a MySql database in the background to drive the content of your website, we can create a fantastic dynamic website for your business.
If your business had a product list of, lets say 50 items, using purely HTML to create the site you would require 51 pages! One to display a list of your 50 products and then an additional page for each of the products listed. By using a database to power your website, you would require just 2 pages. One to display the product list, and the other to retrieve the individual product details from the database and display them to your customer as and when requested. An administration area is normally required to maintain the database, i.e. the product details.
